This morning I picked up a few albums from the recycling centre in Seaford. Six LP’s and a 12” single for the princely sum of a quid. Nothing earth shattering or rare, and nothing quite as good as the two Nice albums I got last time.

So in no particular order they are -

Various - Now That’s What I Call Music II (EMI/Virgin)
Roger Whittaker - New World In The Morning (Contour)
- a one tracker for the tune “Mexican Whistler” which is bongo-tastic.
Julie Covington - s/t (EMI Fame)
Tom Jones - At This Moment (Jive
) - includes his version of “Kiss”.
The Paul Mauriat Orchestra -Summer Memories (Philips)
Eagles - One Of These Nights (Asylum)
Ultravox - Vienna (Chrysalis 12”)

Afterwards I took a bus trip via Newhaven to Lewes and had a pint of Hardy and Hanson Olde Trip (4.3 % ABV) at The Lamb. Then caught another bus towards Eastbourne (the Compass bus route 145). I mooched around the town visiting the museum, had fish and chips for lunch and walked down to the old town area, catching a 13X bus back to Seaford.

The 13X is the Brighton and Hove scenic route bus that goes via Beachy Head to Brighton but as it is a summer route you have up to 14th September to take advantage of it. Brother take note!

Had a quick perusal around Octave, one of the 50 shops featured in the "Last Shop Standing" book.
