Get On Up

Well folks another day done and my first day at SFM Radio on my own updating the What’s On section on the website, checking emails coming in and doing a bit of research. Then I did a stint at the Office. In all, it felt like a long day, but actually the time flew by.

Best song heard during my day was a classic soul number by The Esquires called “Get On Up”. They did a rerecorded seventies version on another obscure label which I sold on Discogs few months back for a tenner. I gave the thumbs up to Nicola , the presenter , on that solid tune.



Posted some books off and a bunch of long players to Germany whilst in Sittingbourne. They have a machine in the post office which allows you to weigh and post your parcels without having to join a queue , which on a Monday I found very useful.
