Creeky Folk
Oct. 16th, 2012 08:34 pmSpot is frustrated. The Poland v England game has been delayed due to a waterlogged pitch and at this stage looks doubtful it will be that they will get onto the pitch. These things happen.
As for me I have been listening to a bit of Radio 4 and a bit of downloaded BBC programmes on the laptop.
This morning the radio station had Laura from the Milton Creek Oral History Project in discussing with Nicola, along with three others that I could only describe as flakey follies. They brought in a CD of traditional songs and sea shanties. Quite amusing. Shiver me timbers!
Afternoon was spent at the Office. Still feels very warm in there and I was beginning to feel drowsy.
Tomorrow I am off to Ashford and hence may do Rye as well, although the forecast for the weather is not good.
