Ale and Hearty
Oct. 25th, 2012 09:57 amYesterday I travelled via Rochester on my journey to Seaford. Had lunch in the city before continuing my travels. This was a delicious gammon with two eggs and chips washed down with a pint of ale.
This was the first day of Wetherspoons beer festival, and I had the following ales.
Cambridge Brewing Co Heather Ale (5 0 % ABV) - a lovely brownish ale from Massachusetts,USA.
Tree Brewing Thirsty Beaver (5.0 % ABV) - a dark hued ale from British Columbia Canada,
Afterwards I did a visit in Tunbridge Wells and had a few more beers -
Wadworth’s Blunderbuss (5.0 % ABV)
Svyturys Baltijos Red Ale (5.5 % ABV) - a lovely reddish ale from Lithuania.
Brouwerij’t Ijbok (6.0 % ABV) - a straw coloured Dutch ale of immense flavour.
Today I shall be trying a few more ales in Brighton after the midday meal at La Tasca.
