After a morning, well actually just over an hour , spent at the Office this morning, I boarded a bus to Maidstone for a visit.
It took a bit more time than I expected, and hence lacking time to do some charity shop perusing, once I completed that job,I  hopped onto another bus towards Chatham for my second visit.

Once again, I forgot to take the camera with me. Anyway, whilst in Chatham, and after completing the visit, I popped into The Works and bought a couple of paperbacks in their sale for 50 pence each - one of them being Greil Marcus's book "Invisible Republic" (Picador) , which is an authoritative overview of Bob Dylan's Basement Tapes.

I was hoping to pop into the HMV shop in the Pentagon Centre, but that branch is closed down, and yet the Maidstone branch is still going (for now at least) . My cousin, Spot , purchased a few CD's dead cheap from the Canterbury HMV yesterday  with some being low as a quid each. He reckons that the Canterbury branch will also be closed soon as they are not replacing empty shelves. I must try to get there soon!!

Awesome
