Blue Pill Or Red Pill

I feel very much like Phil from the Dover Castle, we both seem to have the same virus that has taken him to his bed. Even cousin is affected. I rarely do ill, but I am finding the comfort of bed too attractive for anything else. At least between the chills and fevers and the coughing, I can do some reading, or watch some DVD's from the library.

Last night I watched  the DVD of "The Matrix" , and this made me think about the nature of reality and if we are all part of some construct that defines our reality. How do we know we exist, and what is the nature of being? With that in mind , and now that I have started reading "The Matrix and Philosophy", do I take the secure servility route of the blue pill or the desert of the raw real with the red pill?
