The Quotidian Quark
Apr. 30th, 2013 07:16 pmSo, after waiting for any post that didn't turn up, I took a bus over to Canterbury to do a Wetherspoons visit and as it was Tuesday, i had a Steak Club meal , washed down with a gin and tonic and a pint of beer.
I took the book on "Quarks" with me, and already a good way through the book, despite being a bit technical in places. The paperback dates back to the eighties so since ten there has been more discoveries made in the strange quantum universe of subatomic particles. However, it is a good primer into how quarks were discovered and how they relate to the weak and strong nuclear force.
The afternoon was spent back in the Office. I intend to be there every day this week as i will be away next week.
