Brighton Marina and Kemp Town Visit

The AC adaptor for the laptop finally gave up the ghost but my brother was around for the rescue. He gave me one of his three laptops which he does not use any more, a Fujitsu laptop, with an AC adaptor which actually does work on my antiquated laptop. At least i will still be able to do my gig tomorrow.Also, I gave a newer laptop as a backup just in case

I picked up the laptop from him today and then did a charity mystery shop in Kemp Town. Picked up seven books for a fiver.A real mixed bunch, so most of it will go on Play Trade or be used for recycling.

This evening i did another mystery shop at the Cineworld in the Marina. I saw the latest Will Smith film, "After Earth".

The story is about a military father and son crash landed on Earth one thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity to abandon it for a new home planet in a different solar system.

The teenage son must save his dying father by trekking alone across the hostile terrain, encountering highly evolved creatures and a ruthless alien beast along the way, to recover their rescue beacon and also prove that he can live up to his father's reputation as a legendary soldier.

I thoroughly enjoyed the film.
