Tenderden Visit
Sep. 26th, 2013 11:14 amYesterday I visited the lovely small town of Tenderden to do a double hit on a charity shop.
Picked up a number of books, two CDs and a fleece jacket. The books include a play by Brecht, Christopher Isherwood's "A Single Man",and a novel by David Lodge , "Deaf Sentence", which i hope will be a better read than "Thinks". The charity shop had a pair of Ted Baker trainers looking brand new but at £20. Sorely tempted but decided to stick with the books and that, as yet, I still have to do a visit to Rye - which will be tomorrow.
