Once again recent events have confirmed that the Daily Mail ,or as i call it the Daily Maul, is a rag that is a disgrace to humanity and decency.  Also, i find that anyone who reads it leaves me pretty depressed as to some people's attitudes towards society as a whole. So what if Ed Milliband's father  was a Marxist , he loved his country as well, and wanted the country to be a fairer place and based on meritocracy rather than the old boy's network.

But this is typical of the right-wing press ,or is it a case of the fact that Millibar is a Jew? Probably both methinks. Who are the real haters now ?

Did not go the local pub Sunday night as i felt tired and cold. Monday the cold started with the sneezing bouts and the followed by a cough and the sniffles which i still have.

Tuesday i did go out, though, to complete three covert shops. These were in Rainham and Maidstone followed by a dinner in Whitstable . The latter was at the Peter Cushing, an art deco theatre now converted to a Wetherspoons pub. I had a 14 oz. Aberdeen Angus steak washed down with the house red and a pint of Whitstable Kentish Reserve Ale ( 5 % ABV). Delicious juicy steak and a beer with a glass of wine is my idea of hedonistic heaven.  Well, for an hour or so!

Picked up a copy of Huxley's "The Doors Of Perception" going cheap whilst in Whitstable

The Doors of Perception: And Heaven and Hell…

This morning i spent an hour in the Office, but decided not to go anywhere else as i felt a bit under par to use a golfing term. Perhaps a few beers at the local hostelry tonight might soothe the problem. If anyone has got a copy of the Daily Maul i will gladly use it to wipe my arse after a few beers guzzled down the gullet.
