Saturday i bussed over to Ashford to do a couple of visits - a charity shop and a Beefeater place. The cinema visit will wait till another day , and that could well be sometime next week.

From the charity shop visit i picked up five paperbacks and a couple of CDs.

Another excursion into deepest Kent, well actually Tenderden again. I wasn't going to do any visit today but as it turned out to be such a sunny day i relented and took off late morning. I arrived in this quaint old town just after 3 pm and popped into the Sue Ryder shop. Bought these for a fiver -

Classics of the Supernatural Featuring James…The Unmade Bed (Modern Voices) by Francoise…Just My Type: A Book About Fonts by Simon…Everything is Illuminated (French Edition)…The Impressionist by Hari Kunzru

Last night up the pub with Phil and Spot. The latter spouting his xenophobic tirade against the French, the Scots, the Jews, anyone from up north , and the Americans. Combined with that is a jingoistic love for the old days of the imperialistic past of England. That little homunculus known as Steve, who was also in the pub,  is just as bad It just wants to make me vomit. Rant over.
