Yesterday  had a day trip to Tunbridge Wells to do some charity shop visits. It was a lovely sunny day for such an excursion and I made the most of it. I bought eight books from the Sue Ryder shop as they had a buy one get one free offer. From the British Heart Foundation shop i purchased some books and four seven inch singles for 50 pence each - one of them is worth at least seven quid on Discogs - thanks to excellent knowledge of labels and soul artist - a Joe Tex single on Dial from 1975.

Today I am Brighton visiting my brother for a snack midday and currently imbibing ale at the Evening Sar before i walk down to the Northern Lights for my gig. On the way i picked up some pipe tobacco in Tunbridge Wells.

Had a pint of the Dark Star Indian Summer IPA  (6.0 % ABV) and having a half of the London Brick The Kernel (6.8 % ABV)  - two stonking ales to set me up for dinner at the Northern Lights.

Popped into Sandpiper Bookshop in the North Laines,  and bought two paperbacks - Clive Holmes "Why Was Charles I Executed?"  (Continuum) for a quid and Foster Hirsch "Love,Sex,Death And The Meaning Of Life, The Films Of Woody Allen" (Da Capo Press).

Well, just one more pint before i go.
