The Wetherspoons beer festival is almost coming towards the end ,and thus this afternoon i nipped over to Faversham to sell a few paperbacks and have a couple of beers at the Leading Light.

I had a couple of pints from the States -

Terrapin Tree Hugger (5.0 % ABV) - from Georgia , and brewed at Shepherd Neame
Elysian Avatar Jasmine IPA (6.3 % ABV) from Seattle

Of the ten beers from the USA there is still two i have not tried - the others i have imbibed are -

Harpoon IPA from Massachusetts
Stone Supremely Self-Conscious Black Ale , from California
Fat Head's Sunshine Daydream , from Ohio
Ninkasi Cream Ale , from Oregon
Ballast Point Even Keel , from California
Cambridge Brewing Sgt Pepper from Massachsetts

The others, all UK ones are -

Liberation EPA , from the Channel islands (5.4 5 ABV)
Maxim Ruby Max (4.5 % ABV)
Titanic Cappuccino (4.5 % ABV)
Shepherd Neame Spooks Ale (4.7 % ABV)
Innis & Gunn Toasted Oak IPA (5.6 % ABV)
Batemans Hazelnut Brownie (6.3 % ABV)
Green King The Abbot's Confession (8.5 % ABV)

Favourites are difficult to define but the ones that i loved the most are the Sgt Pepper, Hazelnut Brownie and the very strong Abbot's Confession.

The festival ends on Thursday.
