Having problems using the National Rail website. When i type in start town and destination town plus return and the associated times i want to check i keep coming up with an error message. This is quite pertinent as tomorrow is a bus replacement day.

So I walked into Sittingbourne this morning to do a covert shop for the eyes on retail company on the bedding company that gives you the opposite of nightmares, and check the replacement bus services for TP for Sunday morning.

Anyway, I get back home, about to do said report after lunch on the force majeure company website and blow me, they have taken it off my reporting page already. Thus cannot do the report for the piddling fee of £4.25. despite telling them by phone the other day to extend the period till this evening. Why did i bother?

Jack Kerouac "Maggie Cassidy" (Penguin MOdern Classics)

I find I'm continually impressed with the genuine warmth of Kerouac's prose, having read "On The Road" the previous year, and that this is the third work of his I've read. I can't believe they wouldn't publish this one till after the success of On The Road. I found it lighter than the previous work, being not so concerned with expressing the intricate, sometimes contradictory thoughts and beliefs running through Kerouac's head in later years. Instead, here he simply tells a story with a welcome sweetness, mostly set amidst a picturesque snowy New England landscape.

In summary, this is the good stuff
