Slow

Very slow getting onto LJ this morning. More dDos attacks then?

Having said that, will need to phone up the tech people to solve my forwarding of the data from the scans yesterday. Oh and a call from Henry this morning said I have got the job for the next 51 weeks on-going. Yippee!

Fraggle

Here is a word i love - Fraggle - i think it should be used more often. It has various urban connotations , such as -

Someone with a supernatural level of innate skill at Nintendo games (particularly Super Mario Kart on the SNES). Men want to be him, women want to be ravaged by him.
Punk: Dude, that rebounded green shell you hit me in the batty with was unbelievable. I would like to go on record as saying you're far, far better at Super Mario Kart than I am. You always have been, and always will be.

A euphemism for fuck.

or -

a know-it-all poser who tries too hard and dresses to impress and leave a trail of their alluring scent. they are assumed to be gentle lovers (but may or may not have genitals). They drink passion fruit mojitos.

and finally,

to dry hump, to make sexual and/or grinding movements whilst still fully clothed.

Like i said, a useful word, that should be more common, such as "I was fraggled last night, did not sleep much, and feel wacked out right now"

Picked up an R&B compilation for a quid on the Mojo Club label, which is a selection of R&B from the  south, called Southern State Sound,  featuring Dr.John, The Neville Brothers, Irma Thomas and a host of others.




It is a fine collection of blues soaked music.
