Shortest Day

So today was the winter solstice. You could have fooled me. It felt like a really wet April shower all day long. I had to be out in it , being blown away, attempting to do the last two charity shop visits.Managed to get the last one in Cheriton area of Folkstone a few minutes before they closed. The former visit was in the picturesque town of Rye.

Picked up a lovely cardigan for myself in Rye , and some CDs and a book in Cheriton.

The book is a Bill Bryson one  - "Lost Continent, Travels in Small Town America" , which should be as good as the one he did on Britain.

No more mystery shops till after the New Year  festivities are over.
