Pastorialism

I think it is about time i get going , get up and do something. I have been submerged in the book "Electric Eden"  by Rob Young, particularly with the chapter on English pastorialism, particularly with two egalitarian and socialist leaning composers of Ralph Vaughan Williams and Gustav Holst. This is a large tome, dense in ideas, facts, and research into how folk music became.

I have a visit in Herne Bay to do and might do the Hempstead Valley one as well.

Last Cook

That was the last travel agent shop visit this month. Been to Herne Bay for that one.Picked up a single for fifty pence, one which i have had before. Then had dinner in Faversham at the Leading Light. Had a tasty pulled pork burger with chips, and a relish and coleslaw. Washed down with a Black Dragon cider. A really strong cider.
