Sometimes my blog entries seem to get later and  later Is it because of my full social or intellectual life that i lead in which tempus fugit and the lack of such  impels me to burn the midnight oil?

I have had a full day that started in the ubiquitous Office , then meeting cousin and  handing over forty smackers towards bills and suchlike, and then a trip over to Medway to conduct some covert shops. I did a couple in Rochester and one in Chatham, with bouts of drinking foaming ale in between.

I picked up five CD's for a fiver and then a shirt and a couple of books, followed by a cafe meal at Boomers, and a final knees up at Weatherpersons in Rochester. Had three half pints of that American Stones Double Hopped IPA (8.5 % ABV) at the Golden Lion pub. They made a right clanger with the first two halves by only charging £1.25 instead of £1.99 a half. I kept quiet and merrily sipped them!

The CD's for your information are -

Kanye West - Late Registration
Madeline Peyroux - Careless Love
Omara Portuondo - Buena Vista Club Presents ..
Basement Jaxx - Kish Kash
Daryl Hall & John Oates - The Essential Collection

I might do a longer post tomorrow as i really do need to sleep so that i will be fresh for the morning.

Up early ready for the day ahead. I am travelling down to the Sussex coast to see some friends and my brother.

Taking the red suitcase with me as i have a few items to take including Xmas presents that in the end , for whatever reasons, did not get posted. Sometimes i do not trust our postage system when they send a perfectly good modem from one of my companies which when i unpacked it was cracked on the base with a huge split.

I have completed my three reports from yesterday and thus apart from a wash and packing the suitcase i am almost ready to go. Phil is picking me up at ten this morning, so I have time on my hands to relax.

After a very dull rain soaked morning on the way to Brighton the weather had cleared up by the afternoon turning sunny if a  little windy. We had a lovely lunch at Bellota , which for three tapas each i found very filing. We washed it down with the  house wine and a couple of lagers.

For under a tenner for three tapas it is very good value indeed. Having coffee, lager and vino bumps up the bill a bit if you want to push out the boat. Mark was once again the convivial host and took photos of the gathered party.

A few things i did forget to bring from Teynham today was my two books i have been reading , plus those two classical CD;s Phil and I were going to listen to on the way down. As i shall be doing a few charity shops this week anyway i shall have to pick up some books then, Meanwhile, tomorrow I have a covert shop in Brighton to do, and thus GC and I shall have a brekkie at Cafe Rouge on a two for one offer.

At some point tomorrow i shall nip over to see my brother as he has some moleskin notebooks for me and i do love using these notebooks for all kinds of things., including a quick precis of a job scenario or details of a covert shop, as well as lists, such as books to look out for, or music albums and Cd's.
