What a lovely sunny warm day it has been and perfect for a trip to Herne Bay It was another mystery shop but had to go partly by a train replacement bus to Faversham due to engineering works on the rail line. Then train from there to Herne Bay and back.
So, as it was the second day of the Wetherspoons beer festival (finishing April 13th) I tried a few more ales -
Wharf Bank Black Geld (4.5 % ABV) - Yorkshire black stuff
Wicked Weed Brewery Sir Ryan The Pounder (4.7 % ABV) American Craft Beer from Ashville North Carolina
Zeunerts Swedish IPA (5.5 % ABV) - a Swedish ale of distinction
Hildegard's Solange (6.0 % ABV) - a Belgian strong ale

Oh , and i bought some cheap books for a quid and under -

Herne Bay Memori
These were found in Faversham. After the shop i took some photos ,one of Herne Bay Memorial Park , and the other of the bandstand on the coast road.
.

I did look around the charity shops but nothing really piqued my interest, and that on the whole there did seem to be too much crap.
