Most of yesterday remained stubbornly dull until late afternoon when the sun came out and i went to pop into the town centre of Seaford. I was hoping to get another batch of that cornbread bread from Burts but the shop had closed already.

I popped into one of the charity shops and found some CD's for a quid each, two modern classical ones and a Miles Davis greattest Hits compiltion.

So from that CD here is Miles Davis and Seven Steps To Heaven.

Enjoy.

I shall be travelling the miles back to Kent today.

Quite a slow trip today with a few good thirty minute plus breaks between buses and thus using that time in a pub. Wetherspoons in Eastbourne for breakfast and a drink. Now a pint of Hogsback HBB ale at the Bedford in Tunbridge Wells before my Maidstone bus.

Back in the county of Kent. Hunted for mobile phone which i thought i had left when i caught the bus to Sussex on Wednesday. Cannot find the damn thing and now i have a feeling i may have lost it either on a bus or in Sittingbourne that WEDNESDAY.

The problem with bus travel on a Sunday is that it takes longer waiting for transfers between each bus company.I spent the time in a pub and on the final stage a snack at a MCDonalds branch.

I had to stagger my journey at Heathfield for a pee break and whilst waiting for the bus to Tunbridge Wells i took a photo of the main high street.

It was a gorgious day and turned out to be very warm. I had a good half hour in Heathfield soaking up the sun, took my T shirt off, and baring my naked upper torso to the rays  of the sun sitting on a street bench.

So tomorrow i may have to contact Arriva to see if they have found an old Nokia phone on one  of their buses.

The two classical CD's i found in Seaford are by  composers from the Batic region.

Einojuhani Rautavaara is one composer that the Wire magazine introduced me some years back, and i picked up his Angels And Visitations CD for two pounds, but the other one is by an Estonian composer whom i have not heard of before. Her name is Helena Tulve and the CD is Lijnen.

Here is the title track performed by the NYYD Ensemble conducted by Olari Elts with vocals by Arianna Savall.

Enjoy.

And before i forget, i must thank [livejournal.com profile] chorale for this section on their recent LJ post

"I would love to listen to Jazzy D's thrice-daily posts of music videos here on LJ, but there is not enough time. Go to davesmusictank! He has broad tastes, like I do, but he is better educated in music than I am and finds great deals on cds at what the British call charity shops (thrift stores to you and I)."

Bless.
