Beer and Movies

So apart from the two books I got in Canterbury the others were all DVD's from the charity shop visit.

The Series 3 box set of Futurama
The Mothman Prophecies
Another Woman
Woman In The Fifth

I had a can of my favourite USA beer Sixpoint Bengali Tiger in Wetherspoons in Canterbury and on my return to Faversham a pint of Terrapin Rye Pale Ala (5.5 % ABV).


This was delicious with dark chocolate and cofee tones within the beer.


This rich porter style beer went well my my dinner before Dr.Who.

From the food and drink festival in Faversham I bought a can of Beavertown Black Betty Black IPA (7.4 % ABV) and a bottle of Gadds Dogbolter (5.6 % ABV).

I very much enjoyed the latest Dr.Who episode (Kill The Moon) and it was a bit creepy with those spidery looking giant bacteria being on the Moon. The sparks also fizzled between the Doctor and Clara. With that I shall say no more.

The Second Canterbury Pilgrimage Beckons

Most of this morning has been spent doing my reports from yesterday, but realising how the time has whipped by, i must get ready to go and do my second trip to Canaterbury. The 335 bus goes very two hours through the village and the next one is due just after twelve.

Thank goodness for a dry sunny day again. I will not need the use of a raincoat nor umbrella, although i will bring the latter just in case.  You never know.

It stayed sunny all day. Tomorrow the rain is back but i shall be in the Office most of the day.

Books Found Today

Picked up a number of books, a DVD and a much needed new laptop case (a Dell one) for five quid. The DVd is the film version of the Robert Harris novel "Enigma".

Also from Waterstones, a couple of other books from their sale for a quid each.



Now to finish off todya's reports. It never ends.
