Really had a good long sleep last night. Did not wake till after nine this morning! In the middle of doing my reports from yesterday , so this is just a short update.

Just want to say a big thanks for Julian (Fine Records) in doing a good exchange deal , that is a nine quid exchange, and now have a three CD jazz organ groove set to listen to plus a version of Sir Arthur Bliss "Colour Symphony" (on Naxos).

The few that he did not want went as a donation to the Scope chazzer where i bought a dark green Marks and Spencer Blue Harbour jumper for a fiver.Probably worth forty quid new!

I have loads of pics to put up later, assuming LJ is working properly.

After completing the reports i had brunch and then watched last night's Sleepy Hollow. I must admit, i did not feel like doing anything else today but amply simply. I then caught up with a couple of episodes from Season Five of Buffy The Vampire Slayer (on the SyFy channel).

It is a long time since i have watched any episode. It was ground breaking drama when it was first aired and is still the best vampire and daemon inspired series.

Hell God it is Glorificus!

I also listened to some classical music, and the one i have enjoyed the most today is the Colour Symphony by Sir Arthur Bliss. This is the third movement, Blue.

I also listened to Sibelius Fifth Symphony, and another of my favouirte composers,so here is the third movement of that lovely symphony.

The Fifth Symphony was commissioned by the Finnish government to mark Sibelius's 50th birthday.
.
He wrote many pieces inspired by the Finnish national epic the Kalevala written in the 19th century from Karelian and Finnish oral folklore and mythology

Rnjoy.

These are the two CD's i got from Julian the other day in the exchange i made.

The three CD jazz set has some cool tunes on it.

I found this paperback in a charity shop for fifty pence after my visit to Fine Records and the mystery shop.

Tomorrow a trip to Maidstone for a cafe shop visit

The Poet

Well well, my pulchritudinous LJ friends, it seems that i could be a poet
So without further ado, i do not want to blow it,
So here is my result, and i will show it.

You Are a Poet

You are sensitive and expressive. You feel very deeply, and the smallest things in this world can move you.
You may feel misunderstood by the world at times, so you make sure to understand yourself well at least. You are very reflective.

You are a wordsmith, and you know how to get your thoughts out on paper. You are very eloquent and even witty.
For you, the written word is very cathartic. You always feel better after writing or even just reading a bit.
