Who Knows ..

Food and drink visit completed and the Hythe exit survey done as well. Late back though. Arrived at midnight. Still, the pay is good.

Florence  , the pussy cat, has just come to see me in bed , although i do wish it was Buffy or Cordelia (ahem!)

Catch Up Time

Usual household chores now done, and the reports from yesterday completed, it is time to relax and catch up with some TV and radio programmes i have missed.

Probably do some reading as well, as i have a number of books i have almost finshed reading.

Penultimate Angel Season

Season 4 of Angel now completed and it sure was a dark season. What with the beast, the blotting out of the sun, the hail of fire, and Cordelia going all evil with the controlling beastmaster causing her to sleep with Angel's son to bring forth the beastmaster itself, which becomes Jasmine, a powerful suoernatural being that ehthralls people to do her bidding. She brings world peace but at a price that enslaves mankind with free will thrown away.

Excellent season but i still have not got that emotional involvement as i had with Buffy. In fact iam a bit annoyed as when Jasmone was born it left Cordy in a coma. I kow that Cirdy comes ouy of it in the final season to save Angel only to die due to teh visons that will kill her again - hate that! Perhaps Cordy gets a better deal in the graphic novels.

We had no idea this would kick off so fantastically, your support has been amazing, I overheard strangers on the bus talking about the petition and apparently so many of you visited the restaurant to offer support throughout the weekend.

A brief update before you tuck into your Sunday munchies (meatballs, we hope!). We've received support from a host of celebrities, coverage on the Finnish national news, messages of support from the Finnish embassy... It's so fantastic to know how much love there is for our favourite restaurant and Scandinavian culture hub.

The tide is not over us, any sharing and assistance you can give us is still hugely valued, the Council hearing for licence review is on Tuesday morning. We'll be printing off the petition on Monday night (around 9pm) and handing it to the venue's lawyer.

Can we attempt one final push together? Can we can find 10000 people in Brighton who love Asgardian Hash Browns, Fisu & Flaesk?
