Going Out

Off to Canterbury to do a cosmetics and perfume visit , no purchase needed , just observation and inquiry needed plus photo of outside of shop.

Resigned to the fact that i will get the remittance from R next week.
At least i have sold a few DVD's, a single and CD the last few days via Ebay and Discogs.

I wonder if Past Sentence is open today. I could sell some books there on my journey to Canterbury.

Canterbury Visit and VW Symphony No. 2

Just got back from Canterbury half an hour ago. Had a headache for no particular reason, so took a couple of ibuprofen tablets and a coffee, and now relaxing to some classical music. One of my favourite composers, Vaughan Williams, and his Second Symphony (A  London Symphony).

This is his great paean to the city of London, written shortly before the outbreak of the Great War of 1914-18.

It also includes his lovely Partita For Double String Orchestra.

I found the perfume shop difficult to find at first due to the fact that the research company had the wrong address, but asking a sales person in Fenwick's shop, pointed me in the right direction. The shop, Spanish owned, is at the bottom end of the High Street, to be precise in St. Peter's Street , not St.Peter;s Roundabout. Jeez , not only this company are late with payment but also get the wrong address to a visit just beggers disbelief!

Oh ,and whilst it was a miserable cloudy rain soaked wet day i did maange to take this candid pic of a busker in the city.
