So now that I have done my visits i felt like getting home as quick as possible. I started in Sevenoaks, then down to Crowborough , Tunbridge Wells and finally High Brooms.
I had a bit of a problem getting back at first. This was due to very poor weather. The morning was fine and sunny but the overstimulate of that situation soon changed after midday.
We had hailstones, thunder and lightning, and very heavy rain. Luckily I did not get too wet, and managed to dodge most of the showers. At least it is dry now as I write this on the train (8.20 pm).
So now on at rain heading home but via Canterbury West as the usual Tonbridge to Strood line seemed to be bereft of trains. That is , none turned up at Tonbridge to go back up to Strood.
Tomorrow will be less hectic, with visits in Whitstable, Sheerness, and Maidstone. Then Thursday I am off to Sussex for a long weekend. Phil is driving down with me and our monthly lunch club will be at Cafe Rouge for a change. Then Saturday Is another beer festival in Eastbourne, and I will have two visits to do on the Friday.
I also found a book today in Tonbridge for a quid, “The Art Of The Dutch Republic 1585 – 1718”.

Now to finish off these reports.
