I really did enjoy the episode Babylon from the X Files on Monday night as it was to do with the philosophical issue of the power of words and how words can implant an idea, like a placebo effect , to corrupt people into actions of hate and terrorism.

The Tree Of Life

I have just watched the Terence Malick film "The Tree Of Life". This is a 2011 American experimental drama film which chronicles the origins and meaning of life by way of a middle-aged man's childhood memories of his family living in 1950s Texas, interspersed with imagery of the origins of the universe and the inception of life on Earth. A strange film but one that lingers after you have watched it.
