Rainham and Faversham Visits

Another mixed bag of a day. Fine warm sunny morning and rain soaked afternoon. Luckily I got the best of it, and because the barrios were up at Sittingbourne station this morning in walked to Teynham to catch my train to Rainham. I sold some DVD's there and made eight quid and then trained back to Faversham to sell some paperbacks for four quid. So not a bad day, despite the weather, and I did manage to get some sunbathing done in the morning. Free journeys both ways.

So for the tame being I am just chilling out - relaxing after the long day yesterday and that with the weather, being temperamental a it is, it was unwise to go anywhere long distance today.

Just Wondering - Walking In Your Shoes

I was thinking the other day about the transferring of personality and such like between people. It was prompted by an episode of Charmed in which Piper and Leo swapped souls or personalities when they went to see a magical marriage counselor. In a way what would it like to walk in somebody else's shoes for a day or two. Would it be somebody famous, an inventor or somebody of a different skin colour. They say that you do not understand someone else until you have been them or walked in their shoes. So ..

O Amazon

Had a problem with Amazon - not major - they tried to deliver two books to me today but could not get access. I had an email from them and i had to add an addendum to  my address stating that all deliveries be sent to the Ofice / Reception area. Direct orders from Amazon seem to be a problem but not from their marketplace sellers.

They will attempt to send the two items tomorrow.




So, hopefully tomorrow i will have the above two books.
