Onward To Strood
May. 19th, 2017 12:25 pmBummed last night that it rained again
From midday till midnight.
Going to the pub was outta sight,
So i stayed in watching re-runs
Of The Buffy show season two.
Fingers crossed as so far it is dry
Despite being a sullen ashen sky
As i make my way to the town of Strood -
Please heavens no more deluge
As i am already feeling blue.

Via my flist. I'm unsure how accurate it might be, but I thought I'd pass it on just in case:
"If you are staying on LJ, and its revised ToS make you uncomfortable, there is an escape clause. Paid users remain customers of the California company, which makes you exempt from all the Russian bits. All the US laws regarding freedom of speech, privacy (what we have left, anyway), protection for transformative works (i.e. fanwork), etc. would still stand and apply to you, as long you pay for it. (Financially, that is. Not any kind of metaphor.) If you're otherwise at-risk, and are financially able, this may be a prudent option."

A Tenor for Fifty Pence
May. 19th, 2017 07:05 pmJourney done, everything achieved,
Reckon sunshine smiled upon me.
Just had to be as i found a CD
That is not so easy to find -
When i saw it - it blew my mind.
The bonus was - two for a quid
So like the jazz jockey Symphony Sid
I snapped it up with my tenner
And now have another Jimi Tenor.
Jimi Tenor - My Mind
From the CD "Organism"
