In Hempstead Valley

Another night of Buffy related veining last night and now Series 5 finished. Some gut wrenching and tearful moments in that one i can say.

Just the one visit so far - Hempstead Valley again and another mobile phone store.

The weather is cloudy today yet warm. It might improve or pigs might fly. Fingers crossed but not for the latter.

In Maidstone

In Maidstone now,and guess what,it's spitting with rain. I still have reports to to do and hence in a Spoons pub but only a soft drink fir now as i finish off my reports.

Might have a walk around the town and see if i can get some bargains in the thrift stores before i go home.

Tonight  i will watch in the buff - er i mean watch the BUff in action - Series 6 of BtVS - such a bad ass gal.Lucky Spike!

Poem Of The Week

Well guys, all the reports have been completed and sent to bed so to speak.

Then i have realised i have not done a poem of the week so here are my amends - just the one this week.

On Waterloo Bridge, where we said our goodbyes,
The weather conditions bring tears to my eyes.
I wipe them away with a black woolly glove
And try not to notice I've fallen in love.

On Waterloo Bridge I am trying to think:
This is nothing. You're high on the charm and the drink.
But the juke-box inside me is playing a song
That says something different. And when was it wrong?

On Waterloo Bridge with the wind in my hair
I am tempted to skip. You're a fool. I don't care.
The head does its best but the heart is the boss.
I admit it before I am halfway across.
