No Rain and Tears Here

Still in the grip of a heatwave as i sweltered in Maidstone and Paddock Wood today.

I picked up some books and a couple of CD's from a charity shop in Paddock Wood - one of the CD's is a compilation of hits by Aphrodite's Child - the Greek prog rock group from the late sixties in which Demis Roussos was a member as well as the equally famous Vangelis. In fact i would guess that this CD is a rare find.

I also picked up the latest Wire magazine (August issue) and a compilation of music by Robert Wyatt.
The Wire has a CD on the cover which i will listen to  later.
