On My Way To The Sussex Coast

Today i am visiting Eastbourne and Brighton for a couple of mystery shops,with the former town being a fashion store scenario.

I will be definitely seeing Julian toady - i phoned to check that he was available - to do a part exchange. He is not buying in at the moment as CD sales seem to be sluggish.

I am not certain what i will get from Fine Records in Hove but Julian always some interesting discs.

The weather is sunny and quite warm, if a bit windy.

Lush Life

I did Hove first,and popped into Fine Records.I gave Julian my selection of CD's to part exchange and came out with four jazz CD's and a classical CD maxi single.

Details of these will be put on this blog later today or tomorrow. Just to say that one of them is a single Cd of two albums by vocal jazz group Les Double Six which was a great find, the other being Joe Henderson's "Lush Life",which i remember being a Wire record of the month. "Lush Life" is a collection of the music of Billy Strayhorn.

All Done

Just finished my last visit in Eastbourne and now will be journeying home. Might stop in Tunbridge Wells fora quick meal.

Think i will have the weekend off before i do any more excursions.
