At Spoons and Post Midnight Music

The evening was spent with Phil at our local Spoons pub. Phil texted me so we met there at 9.30 pm and left at chucking out time at midnight.
We drank four pints of a lovely strong stout. We had a greta time.

TPN Review of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Movie

It has been awhile since we has a Passion Of The Nerd review but here is the latest on the film that instigated the TV series BtVS. And yes, the TV series is much better than the movie.

So ....

After the glorious Sunday it is back to cooler and overcast weather. Most of the day i have been reading magazines,New Scientist, History Today and Philosophy Now.
 Ihave  been reading the Bertrand Russell issue.



And yes, another pipe smoker.

Last night i had a few beers with Phil.We tried a lovely Oatmeal Stout ale(4.8 % ABV).
When we left at midnight it was raining for awhile as i waked home. It did not last long and yet it was still a humid night. I watched an episode of House before falling off to sleep.

I am in town looking for some food inspiration, but so all i did was to pick up a copy of Angel Season 2 for £4.
I shall finish watching the sixth season of House beforehand.

Lunch Club Ahoy!

This was taken three years ago from one of our lunch clubs - Bella Italia- Wednesday we will be at ASK Italian in Faversham for the lunch club. I am quite looking forward to it.
