Possible Move
Jan. 29th, 2018 02:40 pmPopped over to Faversham with Steve and Dean to see a new place which will be more permanent than where i am at. So it looks likely i will be moving into there within the next couple of weeks - and in fact i prefer Faversham as a town to Sittingbourne any day.
It is the market town for the Swale area and has a quaint old fashioned shopping area. I will keep you readers informed.
Meanwhile,i watched some more episodes of Eureka last night as i did not bother going out to the pub - which means i will have tonight if i want to watch Star Trek Discovery on Netflix.

Worst movie .. well .. so many to choose from. I guess the worst movie I saw in my humble opinion was ,, and I do not mean to offend anybody here … but because it was so ubiquitous when it was first aired and has always been repeated on TV at Xmas time is .. waiting for bricks to be thrown at me … The Sound Of Music. Utter schmaltz and saccharine sickliness. I am sorry if it is your favourite musical but on the whole I am not a musical fan anyway.
The only other film that comes as close as being the worst is Bad Taste. Very unfunny .. and yes, bad taste.

New Driver/Writer and Spring Heel Jack
Jan. 29th, 2018 07:08 pmThe new external drive has arrived and boy is it sturdy - a much better build to it than the old LG one. It feels much sturdier with better data stability and anti-vibration error correction.

I have already uploaded two CD's to the hard drive via the unit, and will be watching DVD's again. The CDs in question are the Scott Walker one with the heavy sludge core metal band Sunn O))) .and Spring Heel Jack's Live 2003 CD. I think my mate Ewart will love the second one, so i will burn him a copy of it. He is into avant garde and free jazz or improv. This live album was actually recorded at The Corn Exchange in Brighton in 2003 and i missed it!
Han Bennink - drums
Evan Parker - tenor and soprano saxes
William Parker - bass, double reeds and bamboo flute
Matthew Shipp - electric piano
J Spaceman - electric guitar
Ashley Wales - electronics and other instruments.
Spring Heel Jack - Live (part 1)
This is the thrid album i have by them. Amazing avant garde jazz.
