Tumultuous Tuesday
Sep. 4th, 2018 08:41 amA change in the weather, although remaining dry, today will be cooler and that it will remain so for the rest of the week. I have visits in Ashford today which entails visiting a department store, a supermarket and a chocolate store.
I had the deepest sleep last night ,after a trying a brand of scrumpy cider whilst i was in town. This was in a plastic bottle, but could it not been in a can format as we already suffering from too much plastic waste. That was my rant of the day.
Must get cracking and get ready to go out to do these jobs. Luckily there are close to each other.

Bus Route Changes
Sep. 4th, 2018 10:50 pmToday did not go according to plan. I had not vectored in the new bus timetables for September and that some routes would have been changed. My 666 bus from Faversham had changed its route back to the original direct route to the town., and no longer skirted the conurbation to Cineworld and John Lewis - the latter which I needed.
So for me to do that one, the bus driver informed me that I would need to get off at the rail station and get the new R bus - and so i asked what has happened to the old E route that did go to Cineworld and JL, and she said no longer going. Who runs the R line i said? Chalkwell she replied so my ticket I bought today would not have been accepted by them. I also did not know what times they run, and what the hell is Chalkwell. a bus company that runs around Sittingbourne and the Sheppey island doing a service in Ashford!
So I decided to go just to the supermarket, and not the other two, and then head to Tenterden to do a charity shop visit that was on this month's agenda.
Then when I got back to Faversham this evening, missing my last bus, I had to walk home in the rain. It stayed dry all day but not for my walk home.
Think I will sulk and hibernate tomorrow.
But I did purchase a book from Waterstones in Tenterden.
