This is a wonderful brief selection of poems by my second favourite popular poet next to Philip Larkin, whom I place first, and John Betjeman behind. She is an excellent economical poet who reflects our time and age, and hence I particularly like the poems about growing older and 'mature' love and affection. They are funny, profound and above all, humane.
