WTF

A number of things have bristled me this morning. I am outraged and flabbergasted that Ian Duncan Smith, the progenitor of Universal Credit has got a knighthood. The squeezing of six benefits into one has been a nightmare and thrown more people into poverty than before.

Also, having Charles Moore, the ex-Tory supporting editor of the Daily Telegraph, be the guest Editor to the morning news on BBC Radio 4. This geezer still supports fox hunting and denies the fact that global warming is of great concern.

I really do not know why Olivia Newton-John has become a Dame in the Honours List, as she has done less for pop music overall in my opinion than Kylie Minogue. (I remember back in the day when Dad was still alive calling her Olivia Neutron Bomb - lol!)

Perhaps the whole idea of the Honours List is anachronistic.

It is a very mild morning but foggy. Temperature to rise to 12 degrees C or more due to warming winds from the Azores.

I popped into town today after doing quite a lot of housekeeping chores. Borrowed Carols' hoover as well whilst mine is defunct.

It has been a very warmish day due to winds from the Azores. However, it has meant it was foggy this morning and dull most of the day but at least it was dry.

Had lunch at Spoons. Beef madras curry washed down with Abbott's Reserve ale.

So, on the whole, another quiet relaxing day.
