Wednesday Wonderings
Mar. 25th, 2020 01:01 pmIt is a beautiful sunny day here. It is quiet and relaxing on this third day of self-isolating.
Been playing some jazz this morning as I used last Friday the last remaining cash on the Foyles loyalty card and thus two John Coltrane albums arrived today - Giant Steps and Coltrane Plays The Blues. Just ten pence left - it can be topped up but only instore - which cannot be done at the moment due to Covid-19. They have not got round to allowing to top up via the net as yet.
Disgusted by the Weathersppons owner sacking all his staff. Makes you think whether you should support this Brexit supporter in future if they reopen again.
There are some mystery shops online and by phone but the one I was going to do online from Mystery Shoppers excludes the energy company I am with. C'est la vie!
Still, Proinsight has some visits but cannot be done till April 20th - so some companies are doing their best to keep thongs flowing.
Meanwhile, I have lots of music to listen to and lots of reading to get done.
Strange times indeed.
