Alliteration

I will not endeavour to make some asinine assertion
that alludes to the conceit of alliteration
But I can ascribe the adventurous necessity
That it accentuates a phrase memorably
Into the subconscious arithmetic of the brain.
Perhaps derided by any deluded deadpan critic
It is a technique and a tantalizing tool of rhetoric.
