Thus, after doing part of a report for pne of my carrer office covert phone calla, I popped into town for a burger and a drink at my local pub. Two pints of Thornbridge Jaipur (5.7 % abv) later I was ready for the walk home.

After an afternoon seista, as one does after a fillng meal and beers, I put on a clear and cloudy CD collection.

Clear Or Cloudy - Complete Recordings On Deutsche Grammophon (CD, Compilation) album cover

A collection of recordings of the composer Gyorgy Ligeti on a 4CD set from Deutsche Grammophon.

This will complement my other set of his music -The Ligeti Project.

Today's wonderful word is -

Eschatology

Eschatology is a part of theology concerned with the final events of history, or the ultimate destiny of humanity. This concept is commonly referred to as the "end of the world" or "end times". The word arises from the Greek ἔσχατος eschatos meaning "last" and -logy meaning "the study of", and first appeared in English around 1844.

In the context of mysticism, the term refers metaphorically to the end of ordinary reality and to reunion with the Divine. Many religions treat eschatology as a future event prophesied in sacred texts or in folklore.

Personally, it sounds all like poppycock to me.
