Duffy

One thing I did no know about Welsh singer Duffy - and of course that happens way too much -  -well shouldn't happen at all - was the fact she was once kidnapped and raped. How horrible.  Watching the video for Warwick Avenue gives it new meaning now that I know. Duffy reveals rape ordeal to 'help others who have suffered the same'

Well, after all the foreboding it was going to be a crap day it actually turned out sunny.

THAT WAS THE MORNING

Afternoon, it turned out to be crap. Loads of rain for most of the afternoon. 

Weather and Book Finds

I was rather premature with the weather today. A lovely sunny morning. Crappy rained out day in the afternoon.

I was out today doing another rail mystery shop. So I was hoping the weather would have stayed fine. It also felt a little cooler. My sedulous tracking of the weather failed me. Obviously, I concomitant with that was the frustration welling inside, as I had mu=issed a bus home after I got back to town and had to wait for a parsimonious hour before the next bus.

However, I was able to get to Penge during my travelling excursions and picked up twenty free books from the waiting room there.



Some of these will be for sale, whilst others will be kept. I shall be quite assiduous with my selections as to which book ends in the two piles - and it will not be the two piles shown here.
We have a long weekend coming with Easter, and so, without equivocation, I am hoping it will be a dry sunny weekend.
