Thursday Thoughts
Apr. 29th, 2021 07:19 pmHave not done much today apart from listening to the CDs I bought yesterday whilst in Canterbury.
So after the three CDs of Ian Dury, I have now moved to the nine CDs on the Bach box set. The Wendy Carlos synthesiser set was fun as well. Scarlatti done on Moog synths is a revelation.
The weather has been stubbornly dull and depressing today. At least it did not rain. Hence I succumbed and bought some chocolate bars to cheer me up. Naughty I know but Kit Kat goes well with a coffee.
The weekend kicks off May and I will be looking forward to my favourite month as it is my birthday on the 15th. Also, my brother has his on the 9th. The 17th will see all of us pub lovers to be able to have a beer inside the pub rather than in a beer garden. May is also the month I intend to a London trip and pencilled it in for sometime after the 15th.
Oh, and the latest Godspeed You Black Emperor CD has arrived so I will be listening to that soon.
I shall post some music later, but for now, nothing else comes to mind.

My Friend Raquel, In'it
Apr. 29th, 2021 08:09 pmMy friend from West Sussex, Raquel, during the lockdown, started to take more photography with her camera and posting them on her Facebook page. She has a real eye for a good camera angle and snaps an excellent picture of the countryside around her home in Billingshurst. I have told her many times she could become professional but it does seem that now she is recognised funnily enough by her local council, Horsham District Council. They asked her permission to use one of her photographs for their social media accounts.

No wonder she went ooh la la!
Go Raks,init!
