I went to bed at nine as I was yawning so much. I woke up at midnight feeling refreshed and yet unable to get back to sleep. So I started listening to the classical CDs I found for a quid each in an Oxfam shop in Folkestone. Listening to some of the Ravel CD and now the classic superb version of The Emperor Piano Concerto No.5 by Beethoven with Leon Fleisher on piano and the Cleveland Orchestra conducted by George Szell. Awsome version!!

This was reissued by Sony in 1991 with the Triple Concerto Opus 56 back in 1991 with a meagre 4-page booklet but reissued again in 2001 with an 18-page booklet, and it is this version I picked up.

For your delectation here is that 1961 classic recording. It is a smoker!!

ENJOY!

Do you suffer from insomnia, often or less so?

Do you have odd sleep patterns or regular ones?

What is the longest time you stayed awake for?

Good evening readers. It has been another lovely sunny day. Less wind and warm again.

Once again I was in Folkestone doing one of these exit surveys. Just got there in time to do my shift. Think I might need an earlier bus tomorrow.

Anyway, all done, However, for me to get back to KIln Court end of Faversham, I have to wait for the 5.50 pm bus from Canterbury, as by the time I get to the cathedral city the previous Kiln Court bus had already gone. It is annoying. So what I do is peruse the book shops and chazzers in Canterbury.

And yes, I did buy some books -

So, just two more days of these visits to Folkestone and then a quiet day Saturday enjoying my 65th birthday.
