Well, what a day. One of declamatic insouciance flipping between sunshine and showers and sidestepping any prediction. Nonetheless, I did pop into town to do my food shopping, and then as if serendipity dropped by, ended up having drinks with Phil. In fact, I had planned to go home on the half-past two bus, but a text from Phil, around two, made me consider other plans. He was free to come over for a few beers, so that is what we did.

So, I ended up in Spoons and had a delicious fish and chips lunch followed by a naughty chocolate brownie with ice cream. Phil arrived just after four, and we had more beers finishing sometime after six.

Phil tapping at his phone.
