Monday Musings
Sep. 6th, 2021 07:55 pmIt has been another sunny day and a bit warmer than Sunday.
I deferred my visit to Ramsgate for tomorrow now, as I had to pick up a CD tower that I purchased on Sunday for a fiver. I have been filling it up today. Shoe boxes are not ideal for CD storage on the whole.

did a couple of hours sunbathing as well.

Monday At The Movies
Sep. 6th, 2021 11:18 pmI have just finished listening to a recording of Korngold's Violin Concerto with Anne Sophie-Mutter on the violin with the LSO and conductor Andre Previn.
Korngold, as well as being a 20th-century classical composer wrote many film scores, so here are a couple of his famous scores.
Erich Wolfgang Korngold - The Sea Hawk Soundtrack Suite
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1940). Composed and Conducted by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, performed by the Warner Brothers Studio Orchestra.
Erich Wolfgang Korngold - Kings Row Soundtrack Suite
Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1942). Composed and Conducted by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, performed by the Warner Brothers Studio Orchestra.
And here is his lovely Violin Concerto - the first movement from a CD I found today for 25 pence!
Erich Wolfgang Korngold - Violin Concerto In D Major, Op.35 - 1. Moderato nobile
ENJOY
