Tenterden And Ashford Visits

I caught the ten to nine bus this morning to get down to Tenterden to do my first charity shops visit. And then returned on the number 2 bus to do the one in Ashford. Currently, I am in Ashford having a pint of beer in a Wetherspoons pub.

Book Finds Today

Well, after a pensive start this morning, the weather, whilst blowery, was quite fine and mild. The massive gusts of wind from an incoming storm seemed to have dissipated. I arrived in Tenterden before midday. I popped into my designated charity shop and gave them a bag of donations, and bought two paperbacks from them. The lady behind the counter was a bit of a joker and comedian. But it made the day go much better.

The other visit in Ashford was based on the same hypothesis of giving them a donation and buying a book or two from their supposedly fine recommendations.
