We raised seven kids. LOTS of their clothes came from thrift shops. For 'special occasions', I often sewed special dresses and my girls learned to sew. #2 daughter made her own wedding gown (with her Dad's help-he also sews.) My daughter once had someone ask if she was 'poor', because she had clothes from thrift shops. I said "If we didn't buy from thrift stores, you'd have three sweaters and two skirts instead of the closetful you have." That satisfied her!

No, not into antiques.

Not a lot. I use libraries a lot,though.
