That is exactly it-a certain percentage to make the mandate from the people CLEAR. I see no reason why the exit should not be postponed, a new PM in place and another referendum held, this time with a clear percentage for exiting in place. You don't have a Constitution, no reason why this cannot happen and it really should.
There are so many ramifications to this exit. Things you might not expect or consider important, but will happen. I read that the the Movie/TV industry will be afffected-so Game of Thrones might not be as lavish. In the greater scheme of things, a tv show is not important. Until you consider how many jobs will be lost if they have to scale back on filming. Stuff like this that no one thinks about...
