Last night saw a strange thriller from France at The Duke Of Yorks cinema with GC and Luke. It was called "Lemming". GC had some free tickets to see it. It was a bit like a French version of "Donnie Darko" or "Don't Look Now". Strange and yet compelling.

I was up in West London yesterday doing a small Tesco Metro for the EB in Whittton , near Twickenham, and on arrival got caught up in a street parade of local traders. There was a string quartet and a latino band playing salsa in the street. The street parade soon passed by and it went a bit quieter, but it was very busy whilst the parade was on.

I didn't bother going into central London since i had already bought quite enough goodies the previous days, many of which i have yet to listen to properly. Disapponted by the Memphis Slim purchase as Lp is just too crackly to be listened with pleasure even after judicial cleaning - the Peggy Lee and Nancy Wilson LP's are fine.

Today off to Ashford for another newspaper survey.
