Well, it was being good out despite the fact the weather remained stubbornly variable. Started with a sunny morning, then clouded over by midday and slowly nudged back into the lighter cloud with blue skies.
At least the day brightened up by seeing my mate Ewart. On my excursion to Deal earlier in the week I found a paperback box set that would be of interest to him - The Beatles Box - and sod it for five pounds - just fifty pence more than I paid for it. We had a couple of beers each at The Bull pub and then we went our separate ways.
I popped into the charity shop next door to Spoons and bought a 30 CD rack to add to my other CD racks - it was only a quid - so dead cheap relly. I then ended up in Spoons and had another drink with a burger and chips. Then I went home in time to do my common room jazz CD stint. A couple of neighbours came and listened which was good.
Tomorrow I intend to do two more charity shops in Rochester and Gravesend for one of my companies.
