Usually, David Hurwitz gives a great video of what he thinks are the best recordings of classical music. This time he has gone profound or profoundly mad. It is hilarious either way. How he did not crack up during the 16 mins of the video is amazing.

May the multiverse gives us an infinite version of Beethoven's string quartets.

Review: The ULTIMATE Beethoven String Quartets on TINNITUS CLASSICS!

However, I ask myself, do we need that de-coherencer? When we just put the quantum quartet CD into the ordinary player and listen to it play, that makes the collapse of the wave function and we hear one specific performance. And the performance will be basically decided randomly, but it does not only depend on the CD and the player themselves but also depend on us the listener. How we listen affects the result. It’s one of the measurement problems pointed out by Heisenberg in his Uncertainty Principle.

LOL! Mad but fun.

As an aside: Hugh Everett also has a more direct musical connection, albeit not classical. His son, Mark Oliver Everett is the hugely talented leader, songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist of the rock band Eels.
